Finished our beginner puppy training and what to tackle more with your pup?
Our Advanced Puppy Training program is perfect for pups who already have the basics somewhat established and are ready to take things to the next level. This course builds on foundational skills and focuses on improving reliability, focus, and control—especially in more distracting environments.
We’ll work on things like polite leash walking, advanced recall (even around distractions!), and strengthening cues like stay, leave it, and settle. It’s a great way to help your growing pup become a well-mannered, confident companion while continuing to build a strong bond through positive, fun, and engaging training sessions.

Things that we can work on during advanced puppy training:
Off-leash recall (coming when called in distracting environments)
Long-distance “stay” with duration and distractions
Heel with automatic sit (dog walks beside you and sits when you stop)
Hand signals for commands
“Leave it” and “drop it” with high-value items
“Go to place”/mat training with extended stays
Calm greetings with people and dogs
Waiting at doors and thresholds
Polite leash walking around distractions
Settling on command in stimulating environments
Focus command (sustained eye contact)
Working around loud noises or fast movements
Spin, bow, roll over, play dead
Retrieve specific objects by name
Open/close doors or drawers
Put toys away in a basket
Navigating agility obstacles
Body awareness (walking on different surfaces, backing up, climbing)
Learning patterns (like “find it” or scent games)
