Training for Dogs | Coaching for Humans

My training philosophy is firmly rooted in positive reinforcement, a method I’ve used successfully with a wide range of animals—including sea lions—who were trained entirely through rewards, patience, and trust. I do not advocate for the use of force, intimidation, or “pack leader” mentalities. This means I do not use or support tools like choke chains, prong collars, e-collars, or any training methods that rely on fear or pain to control behavior.

My approach is about building a respectful, cooperative relationship between you and your dog, using science-based methods that encourage learning in a safe, supportive environment. If you're looking for a more forceful or dominance-based style of training, I’m likely not the right fit—and that’s okay. I’m here for those who want to build trust and connection through kindness, not control.
